Today's little bit of art ....

Remember Kahil Gibran?

Everyone in my generation read Kahil Gibran, the Lebanese poet and artist who wrote "The Prophet" in 1923.   I came across this quote and put it into one of my art journals.   "We live only to discover beauty.  All else is a form of waiting. "

I often feel this way, no let's face it I always feel this way.  If I am not trying to create a little spot of beauty then I am waiting for the chance to get back to that.

The interesting thing about this quote now is how much the definition of beauty has changed.  But the idea is still valid.   We are often searching for our own concept of order, harmony and beauty.
